For the third year in a row, the U.S. News once again ranks the Mediterranean Diet as the best overall diet in 2020. This blog will outline 5 must-have cookbooks to learn how to be successful on the Mediterranean Diet. A question I often see posed on any Mediterranean Diet social media page is, “What cookbook should I buy to start the Mediterranean Diet?” I am going to share the 5 must-have cookbooks that I believe will be the most helpful for beginners and the reasons for each. (The summary will lead you to the one-sentence-per-book summary for those who just want to skip the blog and buy the cookbooks!)

Mark and I are days away from our second anniversary on the Mediterranean Diet. Why are we successfully embracing this way of eating two years later? One big reason was having the correct resources to guide us. Stumbling upon two fantastic cookbooks, on the day my Sweetheart and I embarked on the Mediterranean Diet, was a gift. I believe these resources made all of the difference to our success. Both of these original cookbooks made my list of five must have cookbooks.

While the books are numbered, I would not necessarily swear they are in order of preference. The first book on the list is my favorite and if you want to start with only one, this is my recommendation.

    I really love how there are links to the next page and you don’t have to go all the way to the numbers to scroll through. The picture looked amazing, and super appetizing.
